About
I'm a software engineer based in Seoul. I build consumer products and the infrastructure that runs them — Android, web, backends, and increasingly the CI/CD and observability that holds it all together.
I've shipped a profitable English-learning app solo (100K+ downloads), contributed to Hono.js, published an OSS payment library used in production, and am currently the tech co-founder of a live-commerce translation startup pushing real-time multilingual video through AWS Fargate.
My engineering values are pragmatic. I favor clean architecture because it keeps debugging cheap, testing at three tiers because bugs hide between layers, and observability because production is the only place that matters. I don't over-engineer — ship, measure, iterate.
What I'm looking for
Senior-level engineering roles in Korea — ideally Android, platform, or full-stack positions where the team ships consumer-facing products and cares about craft.
I hold an E-7 visa, so I'm work-authorized in Korea today. I'm studying Korean actively (beginner level).
Background
- Coding since 2019, full-time professional since 2020
- Previous: StoneLab (Android + mobile + frontend, Seoul)
- Before that: CodemyUz (2020, Uzbekistan)
- Side projects: Spiko English (solo), Brivva Tech (co-founded)
Beyond code
I use NixOS + Obsidian + terminal-heavy workflows. I read more than I write. I'm slowly building a Korean vocabulary that will, one day, let me stop apologizing in English at the convenience store.
